A student drowned in Chunchi Falls in Ramanagaram district on Sunday morning.
According to the Ramanagaram police, Banuprakash, 21, from Ballari district and 10 of his friends had gone to the falls for a swim. Officials of the Fire and Emergency Services Department and the Police Department conducted a search and recovered his body in the evening.
