‘State govt committed to the development of Jain community’

Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah assured the Jain community of giving the BDA site to the community for cultural and other activities.

The Chief Minister was speaking on the occasion of ‘Bhagawan Mahaveer Janma Kalyana Mohatsava’.

“The State government is committed to the development of the Jain community and we are providing financial assistance to Jain basadis (Jain temple) across the state. Apart from this the State government has decided to set up study centre to study ‘jaina shasana’,” he said.
