A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death by three persons for allegedly harassing the sister of one of them.

Shivshankar (30), employee of a mobile phone company, was found by passers-by lying on the roadside in ITI Colony, Madiwala, on Wednesday, profusely bleeding with stab injuries. He was rushed to St. John’s Hospital, where he succumbed.

Shivshankar, in his dying declaration, named his friends Ramakrishna, Kiran and Ganesh. He said that he was trying to woo Ganesh’s sister. Ganesh, who came to know about this went to Shivshankar’s office and invited him for a party. He later stabbed him and escaped.

Based on the information, the Madiwala police arrested the three accused men and remanded them to judicial custody.
