The Srirampuram police arrested a 32-year-old man for allegedly raping his 15-year-old tenant on Thursday.
The accused has been identified as Arun Kumar, who lived with his wife and children. Similar to Wedneday’s incident in Kengeri, the incident came to light after the family realised that the girl was two months pregnant. The girl also tried to leave the city, but was traced by the police and was returned to the family. A case of rape under section 376 has been registered.
