Sixth conference of Notaries in Bangalore

Over 1,000 notaries from across the country are expected to participate in the Sixth All India Notaries conference to be held here next month.

Speaking to presspersons here on Monday, president of the Karnataka State Notaries Association, H.K.V. Reddy said the conference will have two plenary sessions besides the inaugural session.

“These sessions have been planned to discuss the welfare and improvement of the conditions of notaries across the country, including Karnataka,” Mr. Reddy said.

Notaries are assigned to perform certain legal formalities, especially to draw up or certify contracts, deeds, and other documents for use in other jurisdictions. Notaries said that the seal and signature of notaries carries recognition, authenticity, credibility and immense weightage world over.
