Silver jubilee of Yoga Mandir

Yoga Mandir, a Bengaluru-based organisation, is celebrating its silver jubilee on February 8 at R.V. Dental College auditorium in J.P. Nagar.

The inaugural session will begin at 9 a.m. Swami Veereshananda Saraswathi of Ramakrishna Vivekananda Ashram, Tumakuru; and scholars Shatavadhani R. Ganesh, Bannanje Govindacharya, Gururaja Karajagi and S.N. Omkar will deliver lectures. Singers M.D. Pallavi and Arun Kumar will give musical presentation on the works of Shankaracharya.

The valedictory programme includes launch of 108 online yoga classes, release of books, a souvenir and percussion concert by Arun Kumar.

Former Chief Justice of India M.N. Venkatachaliah will preside over the function.
