Students’ and parents’ associations from across the State will join the Students’ Federation of India (SFI) to stage a protest against a range of issues plaguing the education system in the State on January 28 at Freedom Park here.

At a press conference here on Saturday, they demanded that education institutions should incorporate safety measures to prevent sexual harassment. Among their other demands is the allocation of more funds for education in the Budget, to benefit economically-backward students.
