Continuing investigations into the child-rape case in an international school in Jalahalli, the city police have picked up a few van drivers for further questioning on Friday.

Two Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) Sarah Fathima, the investigating officer, and Shobha Rani, the counsellor, are providing special counselling to the three-year-old girl and the information provided is being corroborated with that of the suspects.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order), Alok Kumar visited the police station and the school to supervise the investigations.

The school has 114 staff members out of which three teaching and 11 non-teaching staff members have been questioning on suspicion so far.

“We are still in the process of investigation. Our officers are working round the clock. We have to piece together many things. We don’t want to leave any gaps. It is a very sensitive case. We are questioning many people even today but no arrest made so far”.
