North Division Police arranging stolen property which was recoverd by them in Banaglore on Wednesday

The city police have arrested seven persons in connection with various cases in the North division and seized 960 gm of gold and silver items worth Rs. 31 lakh.

The cases were cracked in Malleswaram, Mahalakshmi Layout, Soladevanahalli and Jalahalli police station limits. The police said that all the accused were habitual offenders.

The Jalahalli police arrested Rajkumar (23), Harish (22), Kumar (22) and Chethan (21), all from Bangalore. Gold weighing 65 gm and estimated to be worth Rs. 2 lakh was seized from them The Soladevenahalli police arrested Tilakram (42), resident of Mallasandra, and seized gold valuables woth Rs. 8 lakh; while the Malleswaram police arrested Manjunath (31), resident of Jayanagar. The accused had finished his 9-year-stint in prison and was recently been released. The police seized gold and silver valuables worth Rs. 17.6 lakh from him.

The Mahalakshmi Layout police arrested 21-year-old Charan (21) from Hoskote and seized 112 gm of gold worth Rs. 3.47 lakh. He had been released from prison six months ago after he served a sentence for petty crimes.
