Security to remain tight in Bengaluru

Not leaving anything to chance, the police are continuing security arrangements in Bengaluru on Thursday too in the wake of some organisations calling for a Statewide bandh against the Mahadayi Water Disputes Tribunal’s interim order.

Bengaluru City Police Commissioner N.S. Megharikh told The Hindu that the “elaborate security arrangements”, which had been made during the three-day strike by union members of the State road transport corporations from Monday, would be continued on Thursday too.
