A rowdy committed suicide by consuming poison at his house in Bharatinagar on Sunday allegedly due to harassment from the local police.
The deceased, Karthik, was arrested in an attempt to murder case and jailed. He came out on bail recently. However, it is alleged by his family, that the police on the pretext of questioning were harassing the family members which led Karthik to take the extreme step.
