The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the revised timetable for the Common Entrance Test, which is scheduled to take place on May 12 and 13.
The new timetable, however, has not gone down well with students as they have to take the test amidst many other competitive exams. A class 12 CBSE student, who aspires for an engineering seat, said, “I have to appear for the COMED-K exam the same week. It will be hard to juggle between so many exams.” The practical examination for the agriculturist quota will be held on May 16, 9 a.m. onwards. The exam was earlier scheduled on April 29, 30 and May 1, but was postponed due to the nationwide strike call given by the joint front of all Central trade unions on April 30, in which the KSRTC Staff and Workers’ Federation are participating.
