Retired ACP assaults wife over property dispute

A retired ACP allegedly beat up his wife over property dispute in Vyyalikaval on Monday. The incident triggered a protest in front of the police station by the family members of the victim demanding action.

Sources said that K. Seshadri, the retired Assistant Commissioner of Police assaulted his second wife Venkatalakshamma, injuring her. The victim has been admitted to K.C. General Hospital for treatment.

Though a complaint has been filed at Vyalikaval police station, the family members said that police is trying to hush the case.
