Realtor found dead in hotel in Bangalore

A 47-year-old realtor, who was missing for the past five days, was found dead in a lodge in Basavanagudi on Wednesday.

According to the police, the deceased Ramamurthy, a resident of KS layout was found hanging in the room of a lodge which he had rented for the past few days.

The family of Ramamurthy had even filed a missing complaint with the KS Layout police after he did not turn up.

The suicide came to light when staff of the lodge alerted the police after they found a foul smell emanating from the room that Ramamurthy had rented.

The police suspect Ramamurthy may have taken the extreme step after sufferring a huge loss in business.

The Basavanagudi police are investigating the case.
