Medical Education Minister S.A. Ramdas was on Monday admitted to Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research after he complained of chest pain, vomiting and profuse sweating.
Institute Director C.N. Manjunath said that an angiogram was conducted on the Minister to rule out any problems in the heart.
He said that the condition may have presented itself due to exhaustion and hectic activity of Mr. Ramdas in the recent days. The Minister was discharged later in the evening, he added.
