A high-profile delegation of the Rajasthan government was on a roadshow here on Tuesday to invite investors from Karnataka to their State.

Rajasthan is this year’s host State for the Partnership Summit organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry in Jaipur on November 19 and 20.

Minister for Urban Development and Housing Rajpal Singh Shekhawat told a news conference that his team met 170 top officials in Karnataka.

Chief Secretary C.S. Rajan highlighted the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor, of which 29 per cent will pass through their State, the dedicated freight corridor, and surplus land as star attractions for ‘Resurgent Rajasthan’. “I am overwhelmed by the response we have received in Bengaluru and I’m looking forward to seeing a strong participation from Karnataka in the summit,” he said.

So far, roadshows have been held in Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Ludhiana, besides Germany and Japan.
