Mount Carmel College in the city turned into a fortress today as Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi is set to address and interact with students.

Various Congress leaders are also expected to participate in the event. The entire road leading to the college has scores of flex banners welcoming Mr. Gandhi. Only students with passes for the event are allowed entry in the college. Some of the graduate students are allowed to participate. Many students of the college who did not have passes were disappointed as they were denied entry.
