Protest at railway stations

Members of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike staged protests at the Bangalore City Railway station and the Yeshwantpur Railway Station on Thursday, against the release of 90,000 cusecs of water to Tamil Nadu.

The protest at the city station began around 8 a.m., halting the Chennai Express that was pulling out of from platform number 3. In the Yeshwantpur Railway Station, Samparka Kranti Express was not allowed to proceed as the protest was staged around 12.45 p.m.
