G. Arun Kumar, husband of Prabha Arun Kumar, has reached Sydney to complete the formalities of bringing her body back.

The Bengaluru-based 41-year-old techie was stabbed to death in a suburb near Sydney on Saturday.

Prabha’s relative, Thrijesh Jayachandra, said, “Arun was in a state of shock when asked to identify the body. Sushma Swaraj has spoken to him and assured of assistance and support from the Government”.

“Until last night we thought it was murder for robbery but all her belongings are reportedly in place except her phone. Arun is with the officials and completing the formalities and we are hoping that the body will arrive on Wednesday. We are yet to decide where the last rites will be conducted,” added Thrijesh.
