The body of Prabha Arun Kumar is likely to be handed over to her family over the weekend.

The Bengaluru-based 41-year-old techie was stabbed to death in a suburb near Sydney on Saturday.

G. Arun Kumar, Prabha’s husband, reached Sydney on Monday to complete the formalities of bringing her body back.

But relatives confirmed that investigation procedures are the reason behind the delay in the process. Family members had requested officials to hand over the body by Friday but it is unlikely that the formalities will be complete before the weekend, they added.
