Police solves three robbery cases with arrest of 12 habitual offenders

The west division police have arrested a gang of 12 persons and recovered gold valuables worth Rs 13 lakh from them.

The accused were nabbed when they were waiting for their prey near toll gate on Nice Road in the wee hours on Sunday morning.

Police said that the accused are habitual offenders involved in several robberies reported in the recent past. The accused targeted gullible people travelling on the Nice Road and robbed them.

They also attacked a 70-year-old woman and her relative with knife after barging into her house in Kaggadasarapura to rob her valuables in December this year.

With their arrest the police have solved three robbery cases in Byappanahalli, Kengeri and Kamakshipalya police station limits.
