The South-East Division police have filed a chargesheet against the chairman of Vibgyor School and two other staff members in connection with the rape of six-year-old student in July this year.

While Lalgiri, (21) and Waseem Pasha, (28) security guard and attendant of the school have been booked for rape under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), Rustom Kerawalla has been booked under section 202 of IPC for intentional omission while giving information of the offence, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Rohini Katoch Sepat said.

It may be recalled that Waseem had applied for bail, but the court had rejected his plea as the prosecution objected stating that the investigations had proved his involvement in the offence.
