Pilot survey of ‘caste census’ on

A pilot survey of the proposed Social and Educational Survey in Karnataka, being conducted in one block each in all the 176 taluks, and one block each in every zone of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, will be completed by March 10, said Social Welfare Minister H. Anjaneya.

The Minister said on Tuesday that the Statewide survey would be held from April 11 to 30, with respondents answering a total of 55 questions.

Information on 6.39 crore people across the State would be collected in the survey.
