Students across schools in Mysuru observed a two-minute silence on Wednesday in memory of the children killed in the brutal attack on the Army Public School in Peshawar on Tuesday.

Students in many schools, including Baden Powell School and Rotary High School on KRS Road, held special prayers during the morning assembly. Students, who had gathered for the Makkala Habba organised at Rangayana by the district administration too observed a two-minute silence.

In many schools, managements informed the students about the massacre and held special prayers for the departed souls. Students of MESCO institutions held a special programme to condemn the terror attack.
