Warning of an imminent bomb blast, a piece of paper plastered on the walls in the Vydehi Hospital at Whitefield here caused panic for a while on Monday.
Two such messages were found in the morning, following which patients, attendants and the staff vacated the premises.
While one warning note was found pasted near the security guard's room, the other was stuck in front of the hospital director's room, the police said.
Security personnel, who saw the notices, alerted the authorities who called the police.
The latter, who came with sniffer dogs and bomb disposal experts, searched the hospital premises before determining it was a hoax, the Whitefield police said.
