‘People forgot my child’

January 09, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:33 am IST - Bengaluru:

“People on the streets forgot my child and started fighting amongst themselves,” said the mother of the seven-year-old girl, who was sexually assaulted at a school at Hosa Guddadahalli on Wednesday.

She said on Thursday that a group had gone to meet the headmaster to demand justice for her child and that she did not realise when the mob joined them. “My child informed me about the incident on Tuesday evening. I went to the school the same day but it was closed. So with some other friends, I went to the school on Wednesday to meet the headmaster,” she added.

The seven-year-old underwent medical examination on Thursday.
