Parents staged a protest outside Holy Saint Public School in Banashankari on Wednesday over the disappearance of three students of class 9, after they were suspended on Tuesday. The trio returned home on Wednesday evening.

After being suspended for indiscipline, the trio did not return home from school. On Wednesday morning, the worried parents went to the school and found a piece of paper on the notice board, pinned by the students, saying they were going away because of, they alleged, harassment by teachers.

Taking objection to this, parents staged a protest against the school’s authorities. Meanwhile, the missing students returned home in the evening.

The police said the parents did not file a complaint, but enquiries revealed that the children had gone to Mysore before returning home, a senior officer said.
