A 13-year-old boy was allegedly beaten with a plastic pipe by the administrator of an aided school last week as his parents had failed to pay the tuition fees.

The parents have lodged a complaint at Sampigehalli Police Station and the Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. They said that their son was badly injured after the beating.

In their complaint, they alleged that their son had been mentally and physically harassed in the past as well.

A member of the school management denied the allegations.
