Panel formed to monitor work of Congress Bhavan

An 11-member Congress Bhavan Building Construction Committee, headed by KPCC chief G. Parameshwara, has been constituted to supervise the construction of the party’s new building on Queens Road in Bengaluru.

Other members of the committee are Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Ministers D.K. Shivakumar, K.J. George, Ramalinga Reddy, Roshan Baig, H.C. Mahadevappa, M.B. Patil, legislators H.M. Revanna, M. Krishnappa, and N.S. Boseraj, said a press release. The party has instructed all MPs, Ministers, legislators, chairpersons of boards/corporations, district and block presidents to donate funds for the building, which is expected to cost Rs. 12 crore.
