Panchamasaali Math seer passes away

Harihar Panchamasaali Math Seer Mahanta Sri passed away on Monday at Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital in the city. His body was kept at Freedom Park from 10 am to 1 pm to facilitate his followers to pay their last respects.

Hundreds of people including politicians from ruling BJP and the Opposition paid their last respects Mahanta Sri. Traffic on roads adjoining Freedom Park was disrupted for some time as thousands of followers thronged the venue. Police had found it difficult to manage the traffic on the first day of the week.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar has mourned the death of the Seer.
