As many as 6,572 unemployed youths have enrolled for the job fair to be held in Kolar on April 22 and 23.
According to Deputy Commissioner K.V. Thrilokchandra, in all ten thousand youths are likely to participate in the job fair. The last date for registration has been extended up to April 17, he said.
District administration, Industries and Commerce Department and Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation have jointly organised the fair at C. Byregowda Institute of Technology (CBIT) campus on the outskirts of the town.
About 150 companies are expected to participate in the udyoga mela.
