Karnataka Prantha Raitha Sangha (KPRS) and Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS) jointly staged a road roko at KSRTC Bus Stand Circle here on Wednesday condemning killing of five farmers in police firing in Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.

The protesters raised slogans against the Madhya Pradesh government and the BJP-led Union government for their alleged anti-farmer approach.

The killing of protesting farmers in firing has exposed the real face of BJP, the protesters said. KPRS district unit general secretary T.M. Vekatesh, KRRS state vice-president Narayanagowda and other leaders participated.
