April 13, 2013 11:51 am | Updated October 18, 2016 02:55 pm IST - BANGALORE:

M. Srinivas, Rajarajeshwarinagar MLA, who is facing a slew of cases in the Lokayukta court, had yet another case slapped against him in the same court on Friday.

Emerging from the court after filing the private complaint against Mr. Srinivas, who is from the BJP, and his son Venkatesh Babu, the complainant refused to divulge his identity and said he had filed the complaint on behalf of Century Central Builders on Kanakapura Road.

The complaint accuses Mr. Srinivas of misusing his position as MLA to illegally acquire 3 acres of land on Kanakapura Road in the name of RMS Educational Trust, of which he is a trustee. The managing director of Karnataka Udyog Mitra and six other government officials have also been listed as accused in the case.
