Old trick still retains its currency

Two men on a motorcycle reportedly distracted a businessman and took away a bag containing Rs. 2.5 lakh cash from his car in Doddakallasandra on Kanakapura Main Road here on Tuesday.

According to the police, Rajagopal had come to Doddakallasandra to draw money from SyndicateBank. While returning, he sent his driver to buy a tender coconut. He was waiting in the car with the two strangers pointed to some currency notes near the vehicle. Mr. Rajagopal got down from the car to pick them up when the tricksters stole the cash bag from the car seat and sped away.
