Bengalureans can now apply for South African visas right here. Starting March 5, the city figures among seven newly opened visa application centres for South Africa across the country.

Until now, visa facilitation service VFS Global was receiving applications for South Africa visas at its centres in New Delhi and Mumbai, according to its COO-South Asia Vinay Malhotra.

The other new centres are Jaipur, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Goa, Pune and Ahmedabad. VFS now has half of its 18 South Africa visa centres in the country.

South Africa High commissioner F.K. Morule said applicants in India now have the choice of seven more locations from where they can apply. “With the opening of these new locations, we offer an enhanced network and access to all travellers across India. This will increase our reach to people of India and help build travel between our two countries. ”

The city centre is located at Prestige Atrium on Central Street near Shivaji Nagar.
