The wait for Nokia loyalists is over. The latest range of the Nokia Lumia Windows Phone 8 (WP 8) devices — Lumia 920, 820 and 620 — was launched here on Thursday. While Lumia 920 and 820 will be available at select retail stores across key cities from Friday, the other smartphone —Lumia 620, introduced at the press conference, will be available in early February.
Speaking at the launch, Viral Oza, director-marketing, Nokia India, said: “Mobiles are not just about what they have; it is about what you can do with it. Lumia 920 is the most innovative smartphone. It has already won 12 awards globally.”
Nokia is pegging the display and photo/camera features as Lumia 920’s bestselling aspects. Lumia 620 is targeted at the youth and uses a dual-shot colour technique. While the Lumia 920 is priced at Rs. 38,199, the Lumia 820 is billed at Rs. 27,559.
