NITI Ayog to conduct session on ATL programme on June 30

To take its initiative of setting up at least 1500 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) in schools across India forward, NITI Ayog's Atal Innovation Mission will be conducting an interactive session for schools in Karnataka at the Government High School, Uttarahalli, on June 30 from 11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. School teachers/principals from across the State can participate, said a press release.

ATLs are dedicated work spaces for students of classes 6 to 12 to help them acquire innovation skills, develop ideas and build prototypes using state-of-the-art technology. AIM will provide grant-in-aid to selected schools to set up the lab. A 100-day workshop for ATL in-charge, multimedia DIY models and tinkering tests for students and tinkering competition will also be conducted under the progarmme.
