A public meeting to bring together those who have lost land or have been affected by the land acquisition process for the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor Project (BMICP), being executed by Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) Ltd., will be held at Senate Hall, Central College, on October 31 from 10 a.m.

The meeting follows the October 25 Special Lokayukta Court’s direction to social activist T.J. Abraham, who has filed a complaint alleging large-scale fraud in acquisition of land for BMICP, to convene a public meeting of all the affected persons by issuing a public notice.

The court order came along with the one attaching the toll collected by NICE over the last two years.

Those attending the meeting have been asked to bring along with them documents pertaining to the land they have lost and also court documents if any.
