New bus service to Kolhapur

For the convenience of the travelling public, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has introduced a new Carona air-conditioned sleeper service between Bengaluru and Kolhapur in Maharashtra. The bus will depart Bengaluru at 10.45 p.m. and reach Kolhapur via Tumakuru, Haveri, Hubballi, Dharwad and Belagavi at 9.45 a.m. the next day. From Kolhapur, the sleeper service will leave at 6 p.m. and reach Bengaluru at 5 a.m. the next day. The fare is Rs. 1,200, according to a KSRTC press release.
