National Film Festival to be held in Bangalore from Oct 27

A two-day National Film Festival, titled ‘Carte Blanche’ will be held in the city from October 27. Organised by the Department of Media Studies, Garden City College, the two-day programme features workshop on film appreciation, sound recording and processing, clay modelling, cinematography and Photo journalism.

Manjunath M., Head of the Department, Media Studies, speaking to presspersons here on Wednesday said the festival will provide a platform for young and budding film makers to express their creativity and talent. He said around 40 short films would be screened on the occasion. The programme will be held at the Garden City College premises on Old Madras Road.
