Namma Metro bank card launched

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (BMRCL) announced the launch of the ‘ICICI Bank Unifare Bangalore Metro Card.

According to a release, the card acts as a credit or debit card and as a Namma Metro Smart Card, a smart card for BMRCL. It has auto recharge facility for Rs. 200 when the balance drops below Rs. 100, so that users need not wait in queues at ticket counters and vending machines for recharging the card, said the release.
