Mohammed Nalapad Haris moved a fresh bail application in the sessions court on Thursday. The hearing has been posted for May 28. He has been accused of beating up a patron at a restaurant in Bengaluru in February.
Special public prosecutor Shyam Sundar stated that the attack was barbaric and that granting bail would result in threatening of witnesses and destruction of evidence. Hence, Nalapad should be kept in judicial custody till completion of the trial, he submitted.
