Motorist killed in road accident

A 38-year-old man was killed when his motorcycle skidded in Electronics City police limits on Tuesday.

The victim has been identified as Krishnamurthy, a contract employee at Mico factory. According to the police, the victim was returning home from work around 11 p.m. when his motorcycle skidded on a pile of mud in front of Amrutanandamayi College. The victim who was not wearing helmet sustained severe head injuries and died later.

The victim hailed from Mico layout, and was working as a casual construction labourer in Electronics city, according to police.

His body was handed over to relatives after post-mortem. The Electronics City police have registered a case.
