Motorist dies after bike hits truck

A motorist died on the spot after his bike hit a truck parked by the roadside, near Kogilu Cross. The deceased, Naveen Kumar, 27, was a resident of Srinivasapura.

Around 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, Kumar was heading towards his office. When he reached B.B. Road overbridge, he did not notice the truck parked on the roadside. His bike hit the vehicle. He lost his balance and fell off the bike.

Owing to severe injuries, he died on the spot, police said.

Yelahanka traffic police registered a case and arrested the truck driver Lakshmaiah for reckless parking.
