Following heavy rains that lashed the city on Tuesday morning, traffic was disrupted in several parts of the city.

Scores of vehicles were stranded on major roads starting from Hosur Road, Mysuru Road, Tumkuru Road, K.R. Puram, Hebbal, Peenya, City Market, Sheshadripuram, M.G. Road and Bannerghatta Road. Mekhri Circle and surrounding roads, Kaveri Junction, Vidhana Soudha and K.R. Circle had slow moving traffic.

The flooded roads slowed down the traffic causing untold miseries to people. Most, who reached their offices late, complained to the police on twitter and the city traffic website.

MET department officials have said that the rains are likely to continue for two more days.
