More anxiety for CAT candidates

They downloaded the score card on the mobile phone, but it was blank

December 29, 2014 12:45 pm | Updated 12:45 pm IST - Bengaluru:

Candidates, who were already a bundle of nerves as they were unable to access the results on Saturday due to heavy traffic on the official website, were flabbergasted when they downloaded their score card on their mobile phones.

All their details, including their names were blank. The score card displayed only the photograph of the candidate. An IIM aspirant said that she spent a sleepless night after seeing a blank score card. “It was only when I opened the laptop on Sunday morning did I see my scores. I was relieved,” she said.

CAT convener Rohit Kapoor told The Hindu that the score card is not compatible on mobile phones. “Candidates can access their results by downloading the score card on their laptop and computers. We have done this for security purpose,” he said.

The results were announced on Saturday with 16 candidates, including one from Bengaluru, securing 100 percentile.
