The anxious officials of the ASC Degree College were in for a surprise on Tuesday noon, when autorickshaw driver Umashankar T.T. walked in with a bundle of answer scripts. It was the bundle that had been left behind in his autorickshaw by two attenders on Monday.
Mr. Umashankar found the answer scripts left behind in his vehicle while cleaning his autorickshaw. He soon took the answer scripts to the ASC Degree College in Rajajinagar 6th Block. The college authorities took him to Halasoor Gate police station, where a complaint had earlier been filed.
The answer scripts will soon be handed over to officials to Bangalore University.
The attenders were transporting the answer scripts from the college to Central College, Bangalore University. On Monday evening, the university officials were stumped when they received a letter from the college management stating that a few answer scripts had gone missing.
