Metro service to be restored today

Normal operations of the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) train services between Baiyappanahalli and M.G. Road Station will be restored from Sunday between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

The cable-laying work between M.G. Road Station and Cubbon Park underground station has been completed. From Sunday, the frequency between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. and between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. will be 15 minutes.

Between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., the frequency will be 10 minutes.

In view of the cable-laying work, the commercial operation was temporarily operating from June 24 at a frequency of 20 minutes, a BMRCL release said.
