Police suspect attack was related to dowry demand

A man reportedly went on a stabbing spree on Friday evening. Senthil Kumar allegedly attacked his wife, in-laws and a neighbour who intervened.

According to police, Senthil is an employee with a private firm. He allegedly attacked his wife over dowry. He also stabbed his in-laws during the course of the argument. They died on the spot.

Police are searching for Senthil.

Sathya, his wife, and Kumar, a neighbour, who intervened, were admitted to a private hospital in Konankunte.

Senior police officers, including Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) S.D. Sharanappa rushed to the spot in Annapoorneshwari Layout in south Bengaluru. Konankunte police have registered a case.
