Man slashes wife’s throat over trivial argument

A 30-year-old man slashed his wife’s throat with a blade over a trivial row in Yelahanka on Friday.

The accused Anand, from Pavagada and his wife Suma (25) had come to his relatives house to pay visit to the temple. The couple are married with two children.

According to the police, a random conversation between the couple took an ugly turn and Anand slashed Suma’s neck, killing her on the spot. The incident occurred when his relatives had gone out for shopping. The couple opted not to go.

The Yelahanka police rushed to the spot based on the information and arrested Anand. The accused has been booked for murder and remanded to judicial custody, Deputy Commissioner of Police, (North East) Vikas Kumar Vikash said.
